Basic Military Training School Welcomes New Batch of Trainees to Compose the BMT Cl-2017B

   With the 598 new Airmen and Airwomen enlisted to the regular service of the Philippine Air Force last 10 February 2017Last 20 March 2017, comes 269 Trainees that have been formally welcomed at the hallowed grounds of the Air Education, Training and Doctrine Command, Fernando Air Base to compose the members of the Basic Military Training Class of 2017B (BMT Cl-2017B) last 20 March 2017.

   With 85 Females Trainees and 184 Male Trainees, the BMT Cl-2017B is programmed to undergo training in a span of four (4) months. In their stay at BMTS, the trainees will be subjected to rigorous training that will transform the trainees holistically inculcating in them the basic of soldiery- to move, shoot and communicate.

   The Reception Ceremony was held at the AETDC Grandstand with BGEN SAMUEL G GOTICO AFP as the Keynote Speaker challenged the 269 Trainees to complete their training to bring pride to the Philippine Air Force. Contrary to what a normal reception is, the trainees were bombarded with exercises that will test their will and determination to what is only a glimpse of what they will be undergoing on their four (4) month training.


Basic Military Training School Conducts Immersion at Naval Education and Training Command (NETC) and Training and Doctrine Command

    In line with the BMTS Flight Plan 2028, the Basic Military Training School (BMTS) headed by the Assistant Commandant, LTC RODERICK T REYES PAF, conducted and MTI Summit in the form of an Educational tour and immersion at the Pre-Entry Schools for Enlisted Personnel of the Philippine Navy and the Philippine Army last 20-24 February 2017.

    The said activity that involves immersion with the Pre-Entry Schools for Enlisted Personnel of the other Branches of Services of the Armed forces of the Philippines aimed to acquire and learn the best practices of each Pre-Entry School in the conduct of Basic Military Training to Candidate Soldiers and Trainees. Furthermore, the said activity has also served as an opportunity to build cohesion and strengthen camaraderie among personnel conducting basic military training to their respective branch of service.
